LESSO is gradually working harder build intelligent factories integrating “lOT, intelligent control, and automated production.” It has already completed the construction of an automated production workshop for various types of products, such as PP-R water fittings, PE hot melt fittings, and PVC drainage fittings. The products are widely used in pipeline network systems for gas supply, heating, water supply, drainage, and so on. They are also used in major national projects such as the "West-to-East Gas Transmission" project and the construction of the Great Bay Area, as well as high-grade residential communities.
With the improvement in automation, the Group sees its factories reduce staffing and optimize resource allocation to reduce energy consumption, improve comprehensive utilization rate, and more importantly, ensure the stability of product quality. Transforming from traditional manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing, LESSO has greatly enhanced its production capacity, quality, control, resource coordination, and more.

LESSO has always innovated and developed with its global scientific research strength.
LESSO has established its R&D center with over 1,000 scientific researchers. It now possesses forty-five national high-tech enterprises, one nationally accredited enterprise technology center, two post-doctoral research centers, and nine nationally accredited CNAS laboratories. It also operates one key laboratory for plastic molding processing technology enterprise in Guangdong Province, one engineering technology R&D center for plastic piping in Guangdong Province, one industrial design center for high-performance plastic piping in Guangdong Province, and one industrial technology innovation alliance for plastic piping in Guangdong Province.
LESSO now boasts over 4,000 patents, and has led or participated in the formulation and revision of more than 180 international, national, and industrial standards. Its scientific achievements are included in the National Torch Program Project, the National Key New Products, the Scientific and Technological Achievements Promotion Project in the National Construction Industry, and the Government Green Procurement List. LESSO has been awarded many honorary titles by relevant national departments such as the National Manufacturing Individual Champion Demonstration Enterprise, the National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise, the China Construction Science and Technology Independent Innovation Advanced Enterprise, and the Industrialization Demonstration Base of the Ministry of Construction. It has won numerous prizes, including the Honorable Mention Award of China Quality Award, the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of the China National Light Industry Council, the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of the Ministry of Education of PRC, the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in the Guangdong Province, the First Prize for Technological Invention in Guangdong Province, the Excellence Award of China Patent Award, and the Guangdong Provincial Government Quality Award. Its products have earned over 400 prestigious international certifications, including NSF and UPC (USA), TÜV and DVGW (Germany), BV (France), WRAS (UK), WaterMark (Australia), and CSA (Canada).
