On March 21, 2025, the grand opening ceremony of the LESSO Tanzania Production Base was held. Mr. Wong Luen Hei, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of LESSO Group, relevant leaders of the LESSO Group, leaders of the Tanzanian government, cooperative customers, and guests from afar attended the event in person to witness this important historical moment together.

The LESSO (Tanzania) Production Base, relying on the robust technical support and global resources of the LESSO Group, is dedicated to offering high-quality plastic pipe products and one-stop product solutions to the markets of countries surrounding Tanzania.

The production base specializes in manufacturing plastic pipes, covering PVC-U water pipes, PVC-U drainage pipes, PVC electrical conduits, PP-R water pipes, PE water pipes and other fields. The production adheres to local and international standards.

To achieve excellent quality, the company is equipped with modern pipe extrusion machines and laboratory facilities for chemical testing and physical property testing. The products span multiple fields such as building water supply and drainage, municipal pipelines, and agricultural irrigation. With an annual production capacity of around 30,000 tons, it can fully meet the market demands of Tanzania and its neighboring countries.

During their visit to the Tanzania Production Base, leaders and guests gained in-depth knowledge about various aspects of the factory, including the production process, technical equipment, products, and planning layout. They expressed high praise and confidence in the production base.

During the event, Mr. Chu Kun, the Chargé d'affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Tanzania, Mr. Gilead Teri, the Director of the Tanzania Investment Centre, Mr. Jumaa H. Aweso, the Minister of Water of Tanzania, Dr. Selemani Saidi Jafo, the Minister of Industry and Trade, and Liu Bangxu, the Sales Director of LESSO Group's African region, delivered speeches respectively. They extended a warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude to the guests present, and sent their best wishes for the opening ceremony of the LESSO Tanzania Production Base.

Subsequently, the relevant leaders and guests jointly pressed the start button of the opening ceremony of the LESSO Tanzania Production Base, symbolizing the successful completion of the opening ceremony!
